Card games in Japan

tekmosis | April 25, 2007 | Video | Misc
I'm sure if they brought games like this to North America people would play it. Look at how popular card games like Magic the Gathering, is. I know I would play this if it was brought over.

Card-based arcade games, not popular in the West. But in Japan, the folks LOVE them! The neat clip on Aquarian Age Alternative explains why: Beautiful HD screens, nice graphics and fun game play. And here you were, wondering wtf was up with Japan and those card games.

Man, I remember all the dough I sank into Magic back in the day. I think the only card I nabbed which was even "remotely" good was the Rock Hydra. But I really wanted a Shivan Dragon. Anyways Aquarian Age looks pretty neat, but no less pricey on the wallet I'd imagine.

I was dumb and sold all my good cards way back when I was about 11. I actually had a Shivan Dragon too. I didn't buy it either, I had actually gotten it from buying a pack of cards. I had a bunch of good cards. At my parents place I still have hundreds of Magic cards but who knows if any in there are worth anything. But yea, Aquarian Age looks good.

I keep all my MTG cards even though I seldom play it nowadays.

I would definitely play that if it came to America. It looks so clean and fun. There is probably a few glitches but they shouldn't be big deals.
