A new story trailer released by Midway that shows how the entire Mortal Kombat versus DC Universe concept comes about. The trailer reveals who teams up with who, and why there's a battle for the universe.

I’m not going to give anything away, but I will say that the entire concept isn’t quite as far-fetched as you might have thought. I’m not entirely sure how they’re going to tie-in the endings with the story (for each character) and still have things work cohesively, but maybe it won’t be as bad as some of us think.
