Interested in what can be done with the new PS3 Eye (white version, possibly a prototype)? It seems we have some very cool technology that recognizes certain markings on these playing cards and transforms them into 3D monsters on screen here. It's taking card battle games to a whole new level. Granted I don't play these types of games but clearly what this means as that these cameras are very high fidelity and could be used for all kinds of unique things.
Unfortunately, I don't have a clue what he's saying.

Earlier this year someone showed me this crazy app that someone had written on a MacBook whereby the built in webcam was used to scan ISBN numbers off of books or movies to return all the product's information, so this type of scanning capability is an amazing demonstration of just what is capable with today's technology.

This is very cool stuff indeed, remember that water cup tech demo back when the PS3 was first unveiled? I still want that, REALLY BAD. That was so freaking cool.

Also, after I looked at the video again it IS indeed the new PS3 Eye only it just seems to be white, mounted on a special kind of bendable arm.

The title of the video threw me off, I didn't know if Eye of Judgement is the name of the game or what.

I didnt get an eyetoy because whenever I tried it it had trouble recognizing movements. This sounds like a winner.

Isn't there a subtitles version of this video? What they show is clearly impressive but I want to know what he's saying...

I really liked the part where he was able to interact with the dragon by "touching" it. I can see myself having a lot of fun just moving the cards around and watching it on the TV.

Eye Toy fell flat simply because of it's limited versatility and quality: there's only so much you can do with a less-than brilliant webcam.
This thing, on the other hand, looks like a real winner. I'd have hours of fun with
