Amazing Killzone 2 Beta Footage. Something interesting found in video

Killzone 2 is shaping out to be an amazing game. And a few people on neo where able to get into the beta. For the rest of us, we are stuck watching video's. And if this video doesn't make you want to get the game, then I don't know what will. Its a great quality video with no framerate drops and in HD unlike the other beta videos released.

Here is something interesting that I found while watching the video. At aproximetly 0.49 seconds into the video you see the player gun down another player. If you look at the name of the person it is "DEZVOUS". Some of you know who he is but others, he was a long time member of neoseeker who was known to be pretty harsh. he is neoseeker name was 'volacide'. Many times through out the video you see his name pop up. But its mostly from deaths.

    Looks like someone from Neo can't stay alive in an FPS.

    Love the effect of muzzle flash in a darkened environment. Gives it a sort of "Slideshow" effect, seldom seen in other FPS games.

    Even if I can't get this game, I'll be renting it no doubt.

        fair enough, i misread the article thinking the guy on killzone merely had the same name as an account on neo, didn;t realise his PSN was the same too

    I wonder if the thread " I'd choose Volacide over death, man " has anything to do with him, haha.

    Looks awesome, by the way. Unlike a lot of games, it looks like games like GoW and Killzone 2 manage to maintain good gameplay on multiplayer without watering down the graphics. The blood is pretty explicit too. They should add gore.

    I remember back before the beta started, Guerilla Games said they put a lot work into making the guns "feel" and react heavy, like they had real weight, and I have to say they definitely hit that right on point. The sound efx in this game are as high quality as the graphics. The recoil and reloading of the handgun alone almost makes the game worthwhile for me.

    That trailer certainly raised the level of interest for me. Love the graphics and the sound. I'd love a demo though.

    Each video only makes this look better and better, lol at DEZVOUS as well.

    The weapon definitely seem to have power, hell even the pistol seems to pack a punch.

      And it seems like the guns actually feel like, well, guns. I think it's the audio that helps it.

    I talked to about this, and he said he is actually pretty good at Killzone 2, ranking in the top 200. I guess the guy just edited all the parts were he got owned.

      Everyone gets killed a few times in FPS games, no matter how good you are. Sometimes you just stumble into a bad situation and no amount of headshooting can get you out.

      I get killed lots, but when I actually shoot stuff, I'm a good shot.

    You know, I have to admit, this game looks really *bleep*ing raw.

    I think I might have a PS3 exclusive I'll play for more than a week..

        Your grasp of the obvious would be inspiring, if you weren't completely wrong.

        I was being completely serious, all of the PS3 games I own, I beat within a week and stopped playing them.

        So yeah, I am now looking forward to this game, captain obvious.

    Well I talked to dezvous about it, and he wants it to be known that he does not suck in this game. Matter of fact, he is actually quite good. check out his stats here...

      289 is a far cry from the top 200 he was claiming to be in as of your last comment.

        You know, it could very well be possible he was on the top 200, but got pushed back by others who got slightly better scores then him. Either way its far more then what this video show. Even though I only saw him die twice, and kill two people in the video not bad. The video is really misleading.

        Go Dezvous. We miss you...or I do anyway.

      He barely has 10% of the top players score, and that's a 18000 points difference

      But still... it's lucky for him to have gotten into the beta...

    Holy crap, those graphics look awesome! Maybe the best i've yet seen.
