A Rant On Bosses: Final Fantasy & Shank
14 hours 57 mins ago
You probably have seen the short commercials around, either on tv or the internet about "Starting your wish list". Well those were just sneak peaks at the final commercials wich are just amazing. Three commercials. The first video are the "start your wish list" ad's that lead up to the final two. The second one is all about the games and blu-ray movies. The final one is all about the Playstation Network.
This is one of the fun parts of my job, when we get to unveil our TV commercials and give you, our loyal fans, a preview of our spots before they hit the airwaves. This year’s campaign is dubbed “Entertainment Unleashed” and for good reason.
The campaign actually began quietly a few weeks back with three fifteen second “tease” executions. Hopefully, you’ve seen these by now. These initial ads depicted various people catching glimpses and reflections of beautiful PS3 game footage magically appearing on building facades across a city.

It's kinda sad!
in fact some of the best advertisements ever made were totality irrelevant. The key to a smart advertisement is to make it stick in the consumers mind.
So doing something cool and strange like the cadbury's adverts work really well.
I just watched the video and I disliked it actually, it just doesn't look good, a small clip of people looking at a reflection of a PS3 game then cutting to "Have you made your wish list yet?". This is nothing compared to sony's bravia commercials.
I felt like the second one was too short.
As for relevance, well, you still have to relate it to your product. Otherwise you could give an entirely different and possibly wrong message to people.
There one of the most acclaimed commercials made.
One of them is a gorrila playing drums.
And its supposed to be advertising chocolate.
