Thats right, the debut trailer of Uncharted 2 has been released. And boy has Drake found himself in a deep snow of trouble. From the looks of the trailer, Drake is in a whole new environment, but hopefully we still will see the jungle levels. Tune to Spike tv on December 14th to catch the official first trailer of the game.

Title of the game has also been revealed as Uncharted 2: Among Theives from the latest issue of Gameinformer. The story will focus around the story of the 13th century explorer Marco Polo and his voyages.

A snow environment? I sure hope not. Tropics is where it shined, tropics is where it should remain.

I won't argue that, but at the same time, I'm hoping that Naughty Dog will do for the snow environment what they did for the tropical environment. Maybe it will just keep it fresh.

    *bleep* YEAH!

Side note, why would he be wearing his jungle clothes in the snow. Come on.

      Sayyed Dec 2, 08
Because from the looks of it, he just came from the jungle.

If its gonna fallow the story line of maro pollo, then we know its going to be set in asia, a place that has both tropics and snow covered mountains.

I knew this was coming, I remember after beating the first game that second game would actually take place in asia and we would see snow environments.

As for red, my guess, and hopefully will be true, we will see both. A little variety.

Well, I'm sure ND will be aiming for variety, so my assumption is that indeed, we'll likely see a little bit of everything in Uncharted 2.

Call me crazy, but why do I feel like the trailer is probably really close to in-game footage? Drake's Fortune was amazing, so I wouldn't be surprised here.

There's just no way I'm going to be watching the Spike VGA just to see this. That awards show is so biased I can't take any of it seriously. I mean, they created a category just for Halo 3 last year, just so they could get it in there.

5 bucks says they don't even have MGS4 as a GOTY nominee...

I think the trailer is entirely in-game i mean the environment was the only thing that was absolutely stunning, Nathan looked exactly the same to how he did in the first texture wise.

I highly doubt that wasn't all in game. I mean after seeing what ND did with the first uncharted, Im not to doubtfull that this isn't all in-game.

And im not going to tune in either, but the video is going to hit the net anyways.

As for nathan, he looks a little bit different, he is more buff and of course the 5 o'clock shadow.

Red no offense but that's a stupid reason not to watch it. EVERYTHING is biased in some way or form.

Since there is no halo in 2008, I really don't see a issue watching it. I can't wait either, i'm going to set it to tape

Nathan looking the same isn't a bad thing if anyone's wondering, cause he looked amazing to begin with.

Actually FB, that's a pretty good reason to not watch it. Why would they create a Halo category on its own? because it's a popular game? So, where's the Street Fighter, Final Fantasy, etc etc categories?

Seems to me the only reason there's a Halo 3 category is because someone slipped someone a lil' somthin somthin, if you know what I mean...$$$

Tek as I stated, everything is biased in some way or form. Big deal Halo got its own Category. I still find that reasoning ridiculous. As I also stated, there is no Halo in this year, so there's no reason to not watch this one.

Kickass, silly of him to go out in the snow without gloves though, how is he to stop pirates if he has a cold?

I enjoyed the first game up until those zombie things came in. I just couldn't handle the zombies coming into the story, it ruined it for me.

I thought the zombies where the best part. So much fun fighting them.

        pooOBKp Dec 3, 08
They were fun to fight but I just never understood why they ever came, idk I don't like things to just change out of no where when you've been fighting humans the whole game.

          Seeker X Dec 3, 08
The game was leading you up to it, actually. Like when Elena was talking about a "curse" and how "a whole colony doesn't just vanish".

          pooOBKp Dec 5, 08
Well then I was oblivious to the hints :-/. If there's going to be zombies I'd like them to be in it from the start. It just throws me off way too much, I'll probably still get this game just because its gameplay was really good.

    Duality_18 Dec 2, 08
The zombies were the best part, Right when you were about to pull your hair out when they bombarded you with another slow cover based shootout with grenade launching and sniping henchmen, they decide to freshen the game up and change the gameplay completely. It was a cover based to a run in gun shooter in perfect transition.

@RED, actually drakes looks a little different.
    http://i60.photobucket.com/albums/h17/hk2art/u2.jpg
As you can see, he looks a big older, got teh 5 o'clocl shadow, he is also a little bigger and has a little bigger cheak bones. So from the looks of it, yeah he is aging.

      dmf_dynasty Dec 3, 08
Or the change in his face can be attributed to it being frozen still. He deid sound a little older in the voiceover though.

Well, as long as they don't pull a Solid Snake on us and eventually turn him into a geezer in the series finale, it's fine.

I think they're also adding onto the level of realism of the game. The original Nathan seemed like an "I'm not completely serious" anatomical design.
