Most of us remember being drilled with bright colored geometric shapes or images of school buses, policemen, apples, etc. Not this little girl. Here, a gamer shows off his 1-year-old daughter's mastery of video game trivia!

Hmm... Did you check Japan yet? Seems like something they may have.

Good point, no doubt they sell millions of robots just like that child so you can keep one in your apartment while giving it minimal care.

As interesting as this looks, just makes me remember how much I don't want kids.

Why do you not get beaten up a lot and thereby become a better person? I am genuinely curious..

Not exactly understanding your question, but I'm just not a baby person nor am I father/husband material. Knowing myself and personality, I'd suck at it. Better off not doing it at all, saves everyone trouble.

For me it's probably the other way round... reminds me just how much I want kids... hopefully I'll have a son (or daughter) that's as into games as I am...

Raising a child alone is a bitch, trying to teach a 1 year old about video game characters like this guy did, takes the bitch part to a new level. I just don't have that kind of patience tbh. And that's one of the key parts of parenting which I just do not have.

I can't make out what she's saying, but I assume she got em right.

Lol, I'd probably drll my kid on anime and game characters too XD

Probably wouldn't quiz my kid so much though.

Wouldn't it be ironic (yet somehow fitting) if she grew up and rebelled against being forced to remember video game trivia, by simply swearing off video games?

I would never do that to my kid....... but that was so adorable.

I think that cookie may have motivated her to do so well. Very impressive memory for a toddler though.^^

She's gonna go to school and convert all the little kiddies to the dark side of gaming...
Oh, and we need small size game controllers.
    Hurray for gaming kids!

That's amazing, I love the fact she responded to sackboy in about 2 seconds.

    'What does Sackboy do?'

    *Shake head around and smile*

I loved the sackboy part haha

Poor kid though Hopefully they didn't grill the kid so much and she just picked the names up from the parents talking or naming them and everything.

As cute as she might be, I fear for her future if her father's already pushing video games on to her. Oh well, there's always hope for making a living out of playing Guitar Hero, like that other sage kid...

    Jesh Dec 27, 08
I doubt the father is going to flatout force them on her, if she doesn't want to play, I doubt she will. I think it's a cool way to improve memory functions.

Agreed.... I tried to get my little cousin sister into gaming... she wouldn't have anything to do with it... preferred to watch music channels instead >_>

Wow, this almost convinced me to have kids...

I mean...I would've liked my future son/daughter to recognize Alucard and Snake when she's about a year old.

Lol. Totally agreed. I might just make mine specialize in football instead?

    Scenario:
    Me: Who's this?
    Kid: Robbie Keane
    Me: Well done!, Who's this?
    Kid: Jose Mourinho

    LOL!
