BioShock hits the PlayStation 3 in Japan this month, and with it comes a "teaser". Kind of odd, kind of scary...what do you make of it?

I thought that was creepy in a cool way. I liked it. they could have shown some gameplay though.

I think they didn't use gameplay footage cause everyone there knows what it's about by now.
I'm glad they did something a little different.

I didn't think it was creepy, but for someone who knows what the game is about, I think it's definitely an interesting way of portraying the game. Like some of the comments below suggested, showing a Big Daddy would also be cool... I imagine him kind of flashing in the background like a light slowly scanning over him.

People shouldn't be bashing it though, not unless they can confirm what the announcer is saying.

It was very creepy... maybe I would have thought more of it if I actually knew what they were saying. The lack of gameplay is quite bad but it adds to it.

The Japanese just made it creepier to me, hehe.

That wasn't creepy at all. They should have made the chick look like an actual Little Sister instead of just some random chubby bitch.

I agree, but I found the Commercial not only, uncreepy, but completely the worst I've ever seen for a game. It literally tells me nothing about the game other then "Oh look a child holding a fish bowl and a sand city...opps I dropped it". I mean honestly, is this the type of commercials which sells games in Japan? If so, it's really sad.

exactly what I was thinking or even better...have a CGI Big Daddy slowly appear behind the little girl to indicate the big daddy role of "bodyguard"

Now THAT would be awesome! Especially if they replaced the girl with one that looked more like a little sister (come on, makeup would make a huge difference)....

They probably used the girl just because she was non-japanese looking >_>

If it were a teaser, then it'd be enough to get me (at the very least) intrigued in the game. Though I wouldn't purchase a game without seeing any actual gameplay.

This is a shame for me, because the trailer does not do the incredible game justice. It doesnt even present much of Bioshocks fantastic and charming attributes; Excellent Voice-acting, immersive environments and incredible character design.

Subpar, I must say. That commercial could of been about anything, really. Where's the indication that it's even BioShock?

I think it's supposed to be the city inside the fish tank. Or that Sandcastle thing. Idk, but it was horrible to say the least.

@Kill I 100% agree as well as you Dine.

Definitely a POS compared to the American/EU one; that commercial was amazing.

Now THAT is a trailer to show what the game is and makes the game proud!

It's been a while since I saw that trailer. Man, it still gives me chills. I still think they had to alter it to appeal to a different audience though.

yeah the part where the drill goes through his hand makes my own hand ache

I suppose though that if the teaser wasn't bizarre and didn't feature an innocent loli then it wouldn't appeal to the japanese

Not that good of a trailer I think, too short and frankly uninteresting.
