Houndreds of companies flock to the Superbowl and pay millions upon millions to for a mere 30 seconds of air space during the big game. Some people only tune in just to see the superbowl ads. And Sony is getting in on the action. Releasing this awesome Killzone 2 superbowl ad. I might tune in to the game just see this on live television.

That was killer. Why hasn't MS or ninty tried this? This could actually get some extra sales from those watching.

Now for TV ads on other channels.

Let's not give them idea's. We wouldn't want Sony losing money, would we?

Aren't Sony in the dumps though? Every article I read shows why Sony isn't going to make it!

Sony are no worse off than Microsoft or any other organisation, Sony are atleast showing signs of making a profit on the PS3 this year. Microsoft keep cutting prices and cutting prices, the 360 probably still costs them a fortune and it's not even selling that great anymore. The PS3 came out a year later and is on 21 million sales which is 7 million less than the 360, the PS3 isn't in trouble like every article about it leads people to believe.

I wasn't serious, but thank you for the lecture. Just every article seems to be posted about how Sony isn't going to make it no more, get it?

360 started making a profit last year. And their advances in chips (falcon japser) etc has allowed them to reduce costs.

The time slot for that commercial as the thing runs for 52 seconds probably cost them half the money the game cost to make... Thats how confident Sony must be right now, i think the only game Microsoft would have tried this with is Halo 3.

Saw the ad, that ad got me pumped for the game(wasn't before), and was pretty funny.

Meh. I didn't really like the trailer. It definitely didn't get me any more excited about it. Different strokes for different folks, though, I suppose.

I still think the game will be amazing, though.

It's primarily for those who have never seen it before. At least I think it is.

I liked it. It's cool how they made references to football while describing the game at the same time.

Wow, I'm not interested in the game, but man that was a great commercial I like that. They definitely need more advertisement like that. And honestly I'd want to see SONY make more of those advertisements than the other companies, merely because Sony seems to lack in the advertisement department.

I don't really understand it, I assumes the lines used were some sort of spin offs from actual american football terms?

haha, no worries I didn't even realize today was Superbowl Sunday until about 3pm when someone sent me a text message about it haha.

Ah well, I'm not into football (American Football that is. Now American Soccer, that's a fun game to play not watch )

No I'm hearing rumors the ad didn't show up, either it was fake or there were some last minute troubles.

It might have been on the big screen though; you know, the kind of screen that guys sometimes propose to their girlfriends on?
