This is the Wii version also, since the DS version will apparantly have no voiceovers (which is extremely disappointing).

    Such a makeover though!

Yes. But this is not a port. This is a reimagining if you will, of the original storyline. The original content is there, well secured, but puzzles have been upgraded to make use of the Wiimote/Stylus, and there is content both before and after the originals beginning. More exposition and storytelling from Nicos perspective.

Having said that, newcomers to the series won't bother..
I hope all fans take this game into consideration! (yeh I am advertising alot, but the developers were requesting it on their forums..)

Ah, I though it was just 'enhanced'. Odd theres no voiceovers in the DS version..seems like the carts could easily handle it..maybe not I dunno.

Im conflicted on which version to play...sigh.

Also, huge difference between promotion and advertising. Please take note. Promotion is positive and lovely..advertising is evil and unnecessary. Well, thats how I feel...

Revolution simply cannot afford to upgrade the cartridge capacity to support voice acting for the DS version. Thats what one of the developers said to me when I asked about it on their forums anyway.

They are really hoping these titles sell well so they can break back into business, and apparantly produce a directors cut of Broken Sword 2! They are surely sweating hehe.

Broken Sword 3 and 4 did not sell as well as they wanted, and many wanted the series to return to its 2D roots, which was just too pricy for such a studio. This revival for the Wii title is handy since it maintains all of its original content, just polishing up the dialogue and expanding on the storyline.

This wont make sense to everyone, but much of the added content involves what Nico did when George Stobbart was off living the main adventure. She did not just sit in that dusty old apartment alone.
