If Halo played like Final Fantasy

Certainly not something you see every day...

The machinima-makin' fellows at CriousGamers have put together this video which shows us what would happen if Halo and Final Fantasy underwent some gene splicing. Check it out below.



Master Chief and Arbiter aren't be too safe walking around that world map. See what happens when they come across a....random battle.

Just an FYI. Master Chief is Knight class, while the Arbiter is a Mage

    If Halo were made into an RPG, I would prefer it have gameplay similar to Mass Effect, or KoTOR (please, dear gaming gods...)

    Even so, that video kicked ass.

    halo is awesome in it's own right, but man, if they made that I'd buy it. freakin awesome. i miss the old rpgs man, Last Remnant is a complete and utter pile of hooey, it plays itself man you dont even need to be there. and its supposed to be the future of square enix. HOOEY.

    I've never even played a Final Fantasy, but that was damn enjoyable. Very well done and excellent work putting it together, with all the graphics and replays and whatnot. Thanks for sharing!

    That was really neat. Nice transition from the FFIX world map music to the FFVIII battle theme (my favorite out of all the battle themes). Big time nostalgia there for me...Anyways, I'd say its a good thing Halo isn't an RPG because the random battles would be a total slaughterfest. Imagine doing that (the video) 15 times in between destinations.

    But it was really cool how they incorporated the weapons and items for use. Like the Bubble Shield. That was neat. Either way, very well made vid.
