Meet Resident Evil 5's first boss "Ndesu". His weak points are his head, torso and the parasite on his back. Yeah, he's basically Resident Evil 4's "El Gigante" with a beard ...

Not that impressed to be honest, looks like a generic troll from a fantasy game. And yeah, clone of El Gigante much?

I'm just hoping the actual battle will be alot toughter than it looks in the videos. All it seems to involve is "press button to hold fire".

I thought of the troll from LotR:FotR, Mines of Moria clone.

Amazing how this game has taken so long to release.

..especially how a lot of goddamn stuff seems to be ripped right from Resident Evil 4.

On a smaller side note, I think Jill Valentine definately plays a part in the game. Here is one of the Achievements/Trophies:

"Masters of Removing" -Work together to save someone special.

Reminds me of Master of Unlocking, which reminds me of Jill Valentine. I still think Rebecca Chambers is Birdlady though!

Yeah it's basically RE4 set in Africa instead of Spain. While I'm greatly anticipating RE5, I don't think I'll enjoy it as much as RE4. RE4 offered something fresh while RE5 is just copy and paste.

I reckon it'll still be one of the better games to be released this year though. On the plus side, it'll more likely offer a more in-depth story than RE4.

About the boss, he looks like he'll be interesting to fight. I'll give it a chance seeing as he's only the first boss. I'd like to see more original and unique creatures like snakes or such just to give it a bit of variety.
