Sometimes companies like to remodel their consoles after a few years. When the technology gets better and you are able to fit the same amount in a smaller, sleeker space, then why not do it! Well don't get to excited, this isn't official. Its a fan made concept for the Xbox 360 if it was smaller and sleeker. If only Microsoft can add the flying disc into the tray feature as well.

Get rid of the sliding tray tbh, ps3 had it right with the slot loader, Less moving parts the better.

@ vacation: A slot loader actually has more parts to it, scratches the disc more, and over time wears out faster. Reasons why:
Needs a disc accepter that with move hte disc in and out of the tray into position. Slot itself can also scratch the disc. If the arm malfunctions, it will rip the disc to shreds in the drive

So the tray loader would be teh safer way to do it.

Props for using Daft Punk as background music.

And while I understand this is only a concept, I see one interesting flaw: What's gonna happen with hard drives?

My thoughts exactly. The hard drive is the biggest problem to shrinking the 360, unless they make it incompatible with current hard drives, which would be kind of stupid.

But it's a pretty decent looking concept though.

By the time they get round to making a slim, it'd probably use large capacity flash storage, You can get 64gb memory card arrays right now i believe
