Amazing New inFamous Music Video

Rock Music + Slow motion action + Electricity= one hell of a video.
The Playstation.blog has posted a brand new video for inFamous, showing of some amazing action, and a brand new power, the Eletricity Sheild. inFamous is scheduled for a June release.

I think the people around the office are starting to worry about me…

That’s okay, it’s good for them to think the producer is a little nuts I think… In a sort of twisted way I really enjoy the final crunch of game production. We are working a ton, and of course miss our families and lives, but to me it feels like the best part of the project, and I don’t think I’m alone in that sense… What can I say? We’re workin’ hard and it really shows in the game. The detail work, the polish, the bug fixing — it all has a massive effect on the end experience… But while we’re feeling good, we’re also a long way from that release disc… Gotta keep grinding….

So okay, enough babble… You’re here to see a new inFamous trailer, not listen to me gaze at my navel, so let’s get on with it, and I’ll give you some thoughts and tidbits….

    Great video and inspired track choice. Someone at Suckerpunch has some great taste in Post-Rock music, "Malabar Front" by If These Trees Could Talk is an incredible track to use, though i would have rathered the trailer go on for the full 8 minutes of the song. Good trailer

    This video made me want InFamous even more than Killzone 2 (which I STILL don't own dammit). So that's saying a lot. Action looks superb, all the effects are absolutely perfect; the flowing electric effects on his hands is phenomenal.

    I didn't think it was going to be that great, but this trailer made me think it may turn out to be a hit.

    Whoever made this video needs a raise. I wasnt too impressed with this game, but I might pick it up now.

      Well I know that, but IMO the music could of been better. Mad world played during the gears of war commercial was awesome. Thats the only example I can think of besides random AMV's.

        Mad World was a lucky choice from what i can see, Epic Games wanted a slow song and Mad World was chosen. It happened to fit extremely well and the fact it was a well known song was a bonus, what amazes me with that inFamous trailer is the none mainstream genre they tapped into, to get that track. Normally you'd expect a generic metal track or ambient backdrop but to use a post-rock band as obscure as "If These Trees Could Talk" made the trailer for me.

    It's not my musical taste when the rock music starts but the intro is cool. I'm not convinced by one trailer though as look how Assasins Creed turned out and that had such an awesome trailer to Lonely Soul by U.N.K.L.E.

      That Assasins Creed trailer was pretty good, but the actual game was also pretty good.

      This Infamous trailer blew me away. I want this game, but it may be awhile before I get a PS3.

        I downloaded it an hour ago to my PC, and had no problems.
