It was recently announced that the CryEngine 3 will be making its way to platforms, Which means we could be seeing games almost as beautifull as Crysis. We will recieve a lot more infor at the upcoming GDC, for now we just get teased with this video.

Crytek, the developer of Far Cry and Crysis, announced earlier this month that its in-development multiplatform game engine CryENGINE 3 would be shown off for the first time at Game Developers Conference 2009. Now it's GDC week and we've got an exclusive sneak peek at Crytek's CryENGINE 3 trailer.
According to Crytek, the trailer features both Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 footage.

    It does look good, however it didn't "wow" me as much as I hoped. Sure there were stunning parts like when the guy shot through the palm trees into the air. But there were quite a few sections that just seemed a bit bland.

    I don't know, perhaps I expect too much of graphics these days?

    The city are wasn't to impressive (killzone 2 did it better) but when it got to the jungle the animations of the trees getting shot was amazing. Man I would love to play oblivion with those kinds of graphics!
