Ninja Gaiden Sigma 2, an upgraded port of the original is set to hit the PS3 this fall, and while I can't discern what is what new and what is not, this trailer looks pretty kickass. Ryu, Momiji and Ayane all take down bad guys in a combination of cutscenes and gameplay, and even team appear to be present.

Some of the scenes toward the end - especially those featuring Momji - look like upgrades of some parts of Dragon Sword for the DS. That's a pretty badass concept, actually, since that game was very impressive (especially given its platform). And the potential co-op looks awesome (and pisses me off a bit, not owning a PS3). I guess I should really finish the damn game for the 360 one of these days.

      You and me both man.

I got stuck on that stupid fire turtle thing and just gave up. Nothing worse than two boss fights back to back. Forces ou to plan your strategy around mearly surviving the first fight with minimal damage which is a terrible strategy because it rarely works.

Co-op is going to have camera issues though, crowded fight scenes can be a pain in single player if your taken unawares. I will trade my 360 version for this, it looks better and playable Ayane is bonus

If there is Co-Op...I can't wait to play the game on the 10th chapter, heh. Huge wave comes at you in that one. Good to see Momiji on a console, definitely improved from her DS counterpart.

I think that blunt sword that Ryu was using earlier in the trailer is new, can't be too sure as it's been quite a few months since I last played NG2.

Will only get this if the "potential" co-op becomes a reality - and being able to play through the entire game with a friend will really get me to finally finish it.

Hate to say it, finding Ninja Blade more enjoyable than Gaiden 2 ever was...
