You might be searching for clues through out the website, but this video gives a little bit more info. Well actually, hardly anything unless you are good at deciphering. From the look of the video, it seems like it will take place during the Renaissance. Why you may ask? Those drawings look and awful lot like Da-Vinci's sketches.

You can access the teaser site by clicking on the Via link. The site also has an Animus link on the left side, but it seems all of the links in that section are still down. Ubisoft's gearing up for an Assassin's Creed 2 announcement on the 16th, so those will probably be up by then.

Yeah, those are definitely Leonardo da Vinci's sketches. I guess that means Assassin's Creed 2 is going to take place in Italy. You'll probably get to move between different city-states (Venice, Florence, Rome, etc.) like in the previous game.

The Renaissance! Now that I much prefer to the French Revolution! Since it was a time of breakthroughs and whatnot, we could end up with a lot more medieval gadgetry, not just the Hidden Blade! It was also a very violent time.
