At Captivate 09, Capcom released two brand new gameplay videos for Lost Planet 2 and they look amazing!

Lost Planet 2 is an upcoming third-person shooter video game set to be released sometime in 2010. The game is a sequel to Lost Planet: Extreme Condition, taking place ten years after the first game. It is both developed and published by Capcom.

Even more awesome videos from Captivate 09 have been released by Capcom. This time two new gameplay videos for Lost Planet 2. The first one “Mighty Emergence” has four guys playing co-op fighting against one of the games huge monsters. And the second one “Jungle Pathway” has a team fighting their way through a jungle.     That looked pretty sweet at first, but then the lack of aiming required looks pretty lame. I never played the first.

    i quite liked the look of that, i got very sick of the snow , very fast, in the last game.

    The aiming and controls still seem really sluggish, they need to fix that.

    I've never played the first but it reminds me of MonsterHunter, not that I've played that either. It looks good, though this trailers peaked my interest. Is that co-op multiplayer going on there or is that AI controlled teammates?

    That's some nice looking gameplay. Hope to see a PS3 version not long after this one.
