The first ever 'proper' (the teaser doesn't count) footage of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 has been released, apparently in the middle of a sports game (the source is pretty vague). It shows the typical soldiers killing and dying, all in a snowy tundra. Underwater diving is also shown, though that may not be gameplay, as well as a snow mobile sequence. Check out this smoking hot video at the source.

    That is looking very promising.

Definately looks GotY behind the obvious.

Looks absolutely identical to CoD4. And looks like it's the same engine. LOL.

CoD4 was an absolutely wonderful game. If they're using the same engine I could care less because from the way CoD4 looked based on the DX9 source..ah mi gawd. I'm surprised you could tell what it really looks like seeing how it was a shitty cam video. Wait for HD videos before passing judgment, though.

Even the CoD4 engine could use improvements, albeit small improvements, but improvements none the less. Looks great. I hope there is an underwater bunker/base that you have to take control of in the campaign, as that would be so fun. Perhaps it will happen, it did show underwater footage too, so it can definitely be a possibility

I was going to post this at 11 last night, but I didn't because I was too lazy to spend 10 or 15 minutes on it. Can't wait for the 24th!

I know with CoD4 it may have been not too great but I really would have liked to have co-op. If this game gives me co-op as well as the graphics they delivered in CoD4 I will be more than happy to give them more of my $$.

      This game will be awesome.

But, far be it from me to contradict bashing popular things for being popular...

Not too amazed tbh. I'm gonna go with LPF here.
