First Guitar Hero 3 Videos!

Here are the first of the newly released videos of Guitar Hero 3, as released by IGN. The videos show the new redesign in the HUD, amongst other things. Looking pretty sweet!

Everyone’s favorite FOX owned gaming site, IGN, has played Guitar Hero III, and has the first world premiere videos of the game in action for Guitar Hero fans to salivate over until the game launches this fall.

These 2 videos feature “Slow Ride” and “My Name is Jonas”, both of which we found out about a few days ago. You’ll notice that Neversoft has totally redesigned the HUD, and I’m not really sure if I like it yet, although I have a feeling it’ll probably grow on me. Another thing is that it doesn’t look like they’ve made any gameplay changes, so you won’t have to learn the game all over again.

I’ll shut up now so you can just watch the videos. Hit the jump where I’ve uploaded them to Youtube as to avoid IGN’s shitty streaming system.

    I don't really see why much gameplay would need to be changed anyway, it works like a charm already. Damn these videos makes me want to play some GH right now.

    Whoa, I barely heard of the 2nd one and we're talking about the second one? I'm lost, but nonetheless, the game looks pretty sweet as far as graphics and fun factor.

    I loved the first game I simply couldn't get enough of it, the second one I didn't get to play much but from what I played it seemed to be amazing.. and now they bring this out on the Wii.. one thing is for sure... this is one game that will be added to my gaming collection as soon as it is released.

    I haven't played any Guitar Hero, but this makes me want to go out and buy it. Nice preview

    I've never played 1 and 2 since all I have is Nintendo, but I'm definitely getting this one!

    I've played the second one and I enjoyed it. So I am looking forward to trying it out. I like some of the music they are putting on the game as well. So definately one to look for I think.

    Has anyone heard at all if GH 3 is only going to be next gen systems..ie 360 and ps3 or will they do a ps2 version also?


    played GH 2 a few times and must say it is a very awesome game
