DYNASTY WARRIORS 6: Empires trailer, featuring Zhou Yu

Earlier this week, Koei announced North American and European release dates for DYNASTY WARRIORS 6: Empires, that spin-off everyone was expecting.

Today, they've come out with a new trailer for the game, and it's quite epic. While you can't judge a game by its trailer, let's be honest -- it's Dynasty Warriors, what kind of surprises would you really expect?

So just sit back and enjoy the eye candy.

    Yeah but is the lag finally fixed? How many frickin' games does it take to remove the same lag?

      I've never noticed any significant lag.

      It's interesting to see Zhou Yu as the character in the video. Normally it's Zhao Yun since he's kind of been the poster boy for the franchise for years.

        Never noticed any lag? Odd. Anytime I get into a good showdown with a huge group it lags badly.....DW 6 wasn't much different than DW 3 in that regard. It's painfully noticeable when playing co-op.

    I'm still angry at what they did to Ma Chao.

    If they do not fix his mounted charge, I will rage quit the series.

      I dig spear users, and one of my favorites was Yue Ying, next to Ma Chao. Then they gave her a flippin' bow.

      I rage quit the series after Warriors Orochi... if you'd count that. Otherwise, I stopped at DW5. NEVER AGAIN, KOEI....... Fool me once, shame on Koei; fool me twice, SHAME ON ME.

        They turned Yue Ying into a carbon copy of Sun Shang Xiang. Seriously, Koei. What is up with the whole "let's make characters identical" bullshit ?

        As a veteran of the Dynasty Warrior forums, I will tell you that I (and many other fans) have been fooled a lot more than twice, haha. Everything after DW3 was a disappointment; a chain of attempts to milk the fanbase for all they're worth.

        I never bought DW6, I just finished the game entirely in one game rental (shows what little content it actually had). But the Empire series has admittedly always been quite a bit of fun.
