Below is the trailer for the newly-announced New Super Mario Bros. Wii from Nintendo, releasing on the Nintendo Wii. The game is expected to hit store shelves this holiday season.

    This game looks pretty impressive. I liked New SMB for the DS, and with Co-Op, I'm bound to pick this Wii one up.

    Wow . . . now this looks awesome. Seems like the retro style of play that we love, with multiplayer (of course, being the wii) and updated graphics

    Too bad my limited time doesn't let me play games like I did as a kid and this game won't be mine really to enjoy

        Well I'll probably get it, but I mean I won't have much time to enjoy it like I used to be able to. I'm already struggling to find time for other games. When I get this one though, it'll probably end up being played most by the kids.

        Now, that is, unless by the time the game does come out I end up having a bit more free time It's just that this year has been really busy.

          Oh I see. It's too bad online isn't confirmed, I'd help you breeze through the game. I'm a Mario master after all!...

          But eh, I'm sure the stages won't last too long so it'd be perfect for someone who doesn't have a lot of time, imo.

          It's confirmed that there will be no online in NSMBWii.

          Miyamoto denied online support for the game during his roundtable discussion. He said that the 4-player co-op was already pushing the Wii to its limit. They missed an opportunity there, but I'll be picking it up regardless. Love the retro vibe.
