Guitar Hero Rocks 80s edition gameplay footage.

Deathsythe | June 03, 2007 | Video | Playstation 2 Playstation 3
Gameplay footage from Guitar Hero Rocks 80s edition. A minute or so of "Synchronicity II by The Police". They really were able to mimic the sound of Sting well IMO.

I don't know, for some reason this doesn't look like it is the actual game...it looks like one of those custom made songs...notice when there are lyrics, the guy inst at the mic, he is just kinda cheering on the crowd, I believe in the guitar hero 2 that when there were vocals, the guy actually was like, at the mic looking like he was singing

    I could be wrong though

Thing is willbaxter it's just the same as Guitar Hero 2, and that therefore in my opinion is disappointing. The addition of old school characters and some 80's rock music is supposed to make me splash out on the same thing again? Hmmm I think now, I'll wait until GH3.

I'm completely okay with a game like Guitar Hero to come out with basically the same game with different songs. To me it's definitely like Mario Party releasing the same base game for years and just changing up the mini games and maps playable.

Not meaning to sound offensive in any way shape or form here, but could someone explain what's so good about Guitar Hero? It really doesn't appeal to me or anyone I know.

a lot of people just like that it offers actual songs and people like the rhythm based games. It is something that requires more than holding a simple controller and running around, time and practice are involved...

It is also highly addictive, and fun to play with people. It is a great party game.

My friends and I usually have a few drinks, play some cards, and fire up the old PS2.

The 80s edition is going to be killer, thats the music I grew up to. Its probably some of the best, and the worst music ever made. lol.
