Golden Sun DS Footage and Screenshots

Announced during Nintendo's press conference, Golden Sun DS will follow the decendants of the protagonists from the first 2 games on an all new adventure. The footage below is of a very early build.

    This combined with the new Pokemon remakes means I'm definitely stealing my little sisters DS for a while. The original Golden Sun was the best game for GBA by a long long way. I'm definitely looking forward to this with great interest.

    no this will not make me get a DS.
    One of the best thing GS was good for was the art graphics.
    3D graphics would be nice, but on DS with trash graphics just makes it look disgusting!

      I'd hardly say the graphics look trashy considering the capabilities of a handheld device. If you aren't going to buy one of the best gameplay/storyline RPG's on a handheld device because of graphics then you use pretty base criteria to make decisions.

        I believe he's one of those who expect the console look and feel on a portable. Which leaves me to believe he's loving his PSP right now.

          no i don't like Handhelds and never owned one.
          Played the 2 Golden Sun's on emulator:)

          I just have a feeling Camelot lost their touch for this game, doesn't even have the feel of Golden Sun.

          Graphics aren't the only factor to decide the feel of a game. The gameplay is far more important. If that's your only argument then it's obvious that you never appreciated the original for the reasons that it was truly great.

          There's no point in arguing with him. To Xino, a game isn't a game if it doesn't have super high end HD graphics that look like it could reach out and blast your head off with their P-90s. And Golden Sun just doesn't deliver that for him. So let him be.

    It looks amazing. Ordinarily, I would have been concerned about the the new visual direction. But after seeing the FFIII and IV DS remakes, I've come to actually like this style. I'm sure the game will do justice to the GBA titles.

      I simply cannot wait. This was my favorite series, and I had almost given hope, but finally, finally we have a new Golden Sun! Finally!
