Metroid: Other M is the newest Metroid title announced by Nintendo, first unveiled at the publisher's E3 2009 Media Briefing. The game is developed by the Itagaki-less Team Ninja, and for the first time in a while takes Samus out from behind the visor in a third-person adventure. The game will release in 2010.

We can really see a little Ninja Gaiden in some of the gameplay, but that in no way is a bad thing. Game looks spectacular, can't wait until 2010.

      of course man!

Mont's Oum showed how Samus should fight.

Nintendo brought out this great franchise but did not show how Samus Aran should be! Samus Aran was always about gun, morph balls and fighting pirates...that's it!

Retro studio revolutionised the gameplay, it was great. But we still didn't see her full potential.

Monty Oum's Haloid showed how fluid Samus could move.
Sure the armour looks heavy to move around with, but it's part of her body "exoskeleton", implemented into her bones.
Now Team Ninja is also doing the same.

Don't forget they are also breaking the barrier by allowing her to speak! In old Metroid games, we could never see what Samus does inside or outside her suit. In Prime 3, they allowed us to see Samus throw up by removing her helmet and still maintaining the suit form.

I love this direction and support it big time!
Nintendo love milking their franchises but adding little content one step at a time so the franchise will not die.
They need to start breaking barriers and taking big steps!

THIS is what I have been waiting for, Nintendo!

Reminds me of old-school Samus, with much better graphics.

    Can't wait.

Love the way this game looks as well...but the title is a bit lame for me

Shows more emphasis on all around combat instead of just shooting. The graphics also look astounding and the game should really end up being sweet.
