filb.de presents Pokemon fans with just another thing to get excited about after the already thrilling news for the long awaited Johto generation remakes, Soul Silver and Heart Gold.

The concept behind the device featured in the video via the link, is that you can transfer a single Pokemon into the portable device. Within is contained a device which counts your number of steps (or shakes in terms of the device) and gives the Pokemon more experience, with the possibility of reaching level 100 without battling. You can also encounter rare items and Pokemon! There's likely to be more news about this product later on, but this is it for now.

(The female sure has noticeable accessories)

The more I see of Pokemon Sunday, the creepier it gets.

This is useless. Few Pokemon rely on a Happiness rating and I can easily level up with Rare Candies by exploiting Emerald's dupe glitch.

If you don't have Emerald, you don't deserve playing video games.

But that's lame? Also it gives you items and Pokemon, I wouldn't say it's a waste of time. A lot of kids and people like me will enjoy this.

There's a way of getting items freely. It's called the Pickup ability. Your Meowths and Zigzagoons of various levels can get them.

I'm not stupid, I've only played Pokemon since the beginning and moderated a forum of it. 0-0 You'd be very boring to play games with to be honest with you.

It would be a lot more worthwhile to get something like a figurine or an exclusive item, not something I can already get in the game freely. I spent my money so I want something worth value.

Or at LEAST some of the harder-to-find/one-shot items like Lucky Eggs or the new evolution stones.

It does seem to be a stupid idea but it makes for a nice thing to have.
Just to say you have it. xD

The shitty thing is, people will always find a method - ie leaving the pokewalker on something that vibrates all day - to gain "steps" 24/hours/day and AFK-level pokemon after pokemon to 100. Which they will then ebay.

Never heard of a washing machine?

Actually, when I was younger, I tried using a washing machine for a device that uses "steps" for something. It didn't work.

Reminds me of that Pocket Pikachu pet you could buy back in the day, it tracked your steps as you walked and I think gained your "pet" Pikachu food or something the more steps you had.

OMG! I still have one of those! I used to spend hours shaking him to get more 'steps' (points) for him. Then I'd gamble it all away. lol

      ...until Pikachu ran away

All I had was that Tamagotchi thing. In Japanese. Which died on me after the first few days because I had no idea wtf was going on.

I have the Digimon equivalent somewhere in the house. Still has battery power and sometimes turns itself on, since you do so by shaking it. Ah good times, gave myself massive wrist ache.
