IGN takes a humorous look at how Natal-compatibility can ruin the Halo experience if implemented in Bungie's upcoming Halo: Reach. Teabagging certainly would become more of an exercise.

why the hell would they add Natal functionality into the new Halo? that would be the stupidest thing ever.

    funny vid though.

I doubt they would do it, but I think it would be cool if they made a playlist on the new Halo where you were only allowed to use Natal. Other than that, it would be unwelcome in Halo.

i watched the video of them playing a racing game using Natal and it was laggy at best. im not saying they wont improve it before it comes out, but there was latency from when they put their foot forward to when the car started moving.

and trying to play a shooter with that, just complicates it even more cause there are way more controls. plus, how would you move around? by walking in place? how could it tell if you wanted to walk forwards or backwards, or sidestep, unless you actually physically moved in that direction, in which case you would move out of range of the camera. and how would you aim? if you physically turned your body to the side, as if you were aiming your gun to the side, you wouldnt be able to see the screen. Natal just wouldnt work for a shooter.

I know it the gameplay wouldn't be as fluid as it would normally be, but I still think it would be entertaining to try.

As for turning while walking, it'll probably just be like wherever you aim with your gun, that's where your guy will start walking. I guess it would be a problem if you wanted to sidestep several times, but that's why it would have its own playlist, since it would otherwise be a huge disadvantage.

Another interesting thought, what if one person controlled the feet with a controller while the other person aimed and fired using Natal? Might sound stupid, but I can imagine having fun with friends on a local game doing that.

2 ppl controlling one character would be frustrating and just no fun. that would be better for a Natal-specific game, one where they purposefully made it just for Natal. i could see them making a game with giant robots maybe where someone controlled the legs and someone else controlled the torso and weapons or something.

we don't need natal to ruin halo. the mythic map pack already did that.

Mythic hasnt even been fully released yet, theres more maps that arent out yet. and how can you not like Sand Box? its so versatile and great for making a wide variety of maps.

sandbox is the worst. its tiny, wide open, and horribly designed in comparison to awesome maps like blackout and ghost town. maybe it's good for forge, but i dont use forge, and i don't play custom games. as a stock map, sandbox is atrocious, and it shows up far too often on any DLC playlist.

well thats the point, its Bungie's gift to those who like to use forge. it is awful as a map in and of itself but the main point of it is for forge. i wasnt aware that it showed up often on normal playlists...they probably should take it out of the DLC playlist altogether. but if you are into forging its amazing.

sandbox and assembly (which i dislike even more) both get spammed pretty heavily on the DLC playlists.

also slumpy monkey, i'll take the "..." as a statement for the lack of a more creative troll

Well Halo hasn't interested me since the third installment so . . .

But that random scanning one was the BEST! Haha, I could DEFINITELY see that happening. Or someone walks right in front of the TV!!
