Modern Warfare 2 Customise your Killstreak!

Mondern Warfare 2 is the hotly anticipated sequal to the hit Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare. Modern Warfare 2 looks to expand on the already amazing multiplayer by adding amazing custom killstreaks. Players can be the gunner of an AC130 for an 11 killstreak.

    I'll repeated what I said in the forum when a thread about this appeared: HOLY *bleep*ING SHIT.

    It's actually pretty strange that you apparently control the guns on the gunship from a controller on the ground, considering an AC-130H Spectre gunship isn't an UAV and has a crew onboard manning the guns.

      Infinity Ward has stated time and time again that they aren't after realism but rather entertainment. If it was the other way around than you wouldn't be seeing that (most likely)

      But yeah, I shat a couple of bricks.

    i dont even get what this means. where i come from, a kill streak is when you get several kills in a row... exactly how do you customize a kill streak? the trailer just looked like normal call of duty gameplay to me. you know; guns with letters and numbers, and grungy post-destruction landscapes.

      Kill streaks reward the player with several game changing abilities. For example, 3 kills in a row in Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare grants the player the ability to call in a UAV that reveals enemy positions on the radar. If you can make it to 7 kills in a row without being killed yourself, your team gets the support of a helicoptor gunship which pretty much obliterates everything in its path.

      Modern Warfare 2 allows you to choose which abilities are given to you. And, by the looks of things, there's quite a few to choose from!

    Wow, impressive. This and Fifa 2010 are the only games I want right now. Going to have to go out and buy CoD4 again after trading it in like a year ago. I thought WaW was ok but I love the modern theme. The kill streak bonuses look ace.

      As outrageous as that sounds, if you allow an opponent to get 100 kills without dying, you deserve to get hit by a nuclear weapon.

    *bleep*ing sweet. They actually managed to put something innovative into the game. Huh. And you can have a rocket launcher with a lock-on mechanism? That's definitely going to be useful.

    Can't freakin' wait.
