"Drop in" ? "Orbital Drop Shock Trooper" ? OH, I SEE WHAT YOU DID THERE.

Why is that ODST carrying and firing a Heavy Machine Gun at 00:53 ? I thought only Spartans were strong enough to do that.

I can't say for certain, but my guess it would be a combination of "We want this to be as alike to the other games as possible" "*bleep* the continuity" and "The rule of cool"

good question, cause yeah, they said that Halo 3's support weapons were really heavy (like 400+ lbs) and no Marine could pick them up let alone wield them in battle. so it does pose an interesting question.

i hope they clear that up, explain it somehow. perhaps the ODSTs are using a brand new battle suit that grants a limited amount of increased strength like MJOLNIR armor, not as much as Spartans but enough that they can carry support weapons. cause 75% of a Spartans strength comes from the MJOLNIR armor, only a little comes from the genetic enhancements.

I think it is weird how they give you seven lives to last five waves. There must be grave things ahead in our future.

7 is Bungie's favorite number, it shows up a million times in Halo.

Yeah, I'm actually kind of surprised that Bungie didn't set the Brute Chieftain thing to every 7 waves. It seems like the kind of thing that they'll beat us over the head with.
