Conventions, trade shows -- assets. Activision is stealing the show today with a bunch of Modern Warfare images and trailer, mostly for the Nintendo versions.

Two new screenshots come from Modern Warfare 2, though they were too big to upload here (check source). So you'll just have to check out some of those DS and Wii screens (more at source). The DS version has been titled Call of Duty: Modern Warfare: Mobilized, and the Wii edition is Treyarch's port of Modern Warfare.

We've got two new screens from Infinity Ward's Modern Warfare 2, and even more images for the Nintendo editions. Finally, Activision is giving us a closer look at the Wii Modern Warfare 2 port, currently in Treyarch's capable hands. There's even a trailer for the DS version, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare: Mobilized, which brings up childhood memories of pixely PC shooters -- blocky blood included.

While many MW fans responded to both titles with skepticism when first announced, we think a Wii port might not be completely outrageous. After all, the Wii does need more "hardcore" love, and a major title like Modern Warfare 2 might help.

Modern Warfare 2 will be out for Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 in a couple months, on November 10. Activision is planning to release both the Wii port and Call of Duty: Modern Warfare: Mobilized for DS on the same day.
