Still, it's looking amazing, so what does that matter?
Game is looking great, though. Trailer definitely bumped this up from a 'maybe rent' to a solid 'rent.'
I thought they were alright. I assumed that given more time, I would get used to them. The IGN editor's description is not inaccurate, however.
This is an instant buy for me really. Hope the action sequences are just like they left them when they showed those first gameplay vids. Here's also hoping the plot doesn't turn a fantasy/supernatural/end of ze world kind of thing...that just threw me off.
With every movie I see, I want this game more and more; this particular character trailer is no different. It gives a kind of 1984 vibe... (60 year old spoiler) how Winston pretty much was destroyed when he said he'd rather have the rats eat her than him.
you thought silent hill was awesome with its 5 endings, heavy rain will have 500 endings(random guess)
@absolute. yes there are a ton of QTE in heavy rain, but there is not penalty for failing them, in fact there is an incentive in most cases. So the QTE's are more like a dialogue tree in Mass effect, except in additon to dialogue, there are also actions.
I want to enjoy it, but I can't get that thought out of my head.
the footage of the robbery in the convenice store on GameTrailers is great. the dev explained 5 different scenarios that 3 min part of the game can play out. and what happens if the store clerk dies? do you never get that piece of evidence? do you run into the robber later on in the game? do you recoginze him?
