EA Sports shows off the new feature Virtual Pro and talks about how this takes the Be a Pro mode further than it's gone before. Check out all the details at Spawn Kill.

During the last couple of days at GamesCom FIFA 10 made an appearance and EA announced a new feature called Virtual Pro. The new feature will give gamers the chance to literally put themselves in the game by using EA’s Photo Game Face. This allows you to take a picture of yourself upload it to the EA website and download it in FIFA 10 to use for a custom character. You will take your created Pro and add him to the team of your choice. From there you can complete over 200 accomplishments to upgrade your player’s attributes. This can be done by playing any of the offline modes including Manager Mode and Arena. Along with this you can take your Pro online and compete in the Pro Club Championship. This is similar to the EA Sports Hockey League in NHL 09 where you compete in leagues with your created character for trophies and a powerful leaderboard status. For those of you who were worried this would take the place of the Be a Pro mode, don’t, Virtual Pro is simply a new feature that will allow you to create one Pro and use him in every game mode.
