A new, nine-minute long trailer is available for all to see, and it looks like Snake's got a buddy this time around. Metal Gear Solid: Peace Walker looks like it could shape up to be a pretty sweet game.

Metal Gear Solid has always been a game about infiltration and stealth; a game about a one-man-army sneaking through some massive, highly-guarded military complex all by his lonesome, armed only with his wits and occasionally a SOCOM pistol (sometimes fitted with a suppressor if you can find it).

....I wonder how they're going to explain two Snakes.

If you take a close look at one part of the trailer, you can see that one of them is named "Naked Snake" and the other is named "Battle Snake". At least we know his name already. We probably won't get the whole story until the game releases.

Wow, that is one good trailer. The tagging along mechanic and team fighting look great, and the tank boxes show it still has that MGS humor

I wish this was done on the PS3. It would make the experience better.

What's the point of a PSP if every game came out on the PS3 instead because "it makes the experience better"?
You probably don't have a PSP, so you're complaining.
Keep in mind that you're getting Rising, and stop complaining.

So...you want Rising on the PSP too? Is that your only source for games or something? I had a PSP. Bought it for the GTA games and Portable Ops. I ended up selling it since I played it...never after I finished all those games. Sure I wanted to play Chains of Olympus, but I can just watch it on youtube. However I wouldn't mind if it got ported over to the PS2/PSN. Its reaching towards a larger audience, wouldn't you think?

I'm not saying I want Rising on the PSP too. I'll get a 360 if I so want it.
I'm just saying that there should be some sort of balance in the distribution of games among consoles.
Frankly, I wouldn't mind them putting Rising on the PSP and putting this on PS3/360.

I would rather have this on a PS3 and Rising on the PSP. I wonder if Kojima will ever say the same thing. I understand what you're saying, but it just seems like they could do so much more with this game being on a Blu Ray disc or DVD. I do have a PSP too, I can't stand the controls for any of the games besides the sports ones or fighters though. Using face buttons to aim guns isn't fun for me.

It isn't fun for me either. So that's why I always map aim to the analog stick and movement to the face buttons. I find that control scheme much easier.
Of course, I always prefer to play FPS games on my PC.
