An extended look at Just Cause 2 [Shogun Gamer]

The first Just Cause game gave players an original sandbox experience set in an exotic locale. Now Just Cause 2 is aiming to outdo the craziness that was in the first game by offering more jaw dropping visuals and action scenarios that look like they were ripped from a big budget action movie. This latest footage from the game shows off what we can expect from Just Cause 2.

I'll be completely honest and say that I wasn't a big fan of the first Just Cause game. The demo I downloaded from Xbox Live really didn't impress me that much aside from the game looking nice from a visual standpoint but the gameplay didn't really captitivate me for some reason. The E3 2009 trailer did raise my hype a bit but I was still a bit hesistant if Just Cause 2 would be any good. Well after watching this 11 minute gameplay video from Gamescom I'm officially on the Just Cause 2 bandwagon.

    Just Cause 1 was really close to being amazing but I felt that there wasn't a good balance between city and forest. I constantly felt lost, and the safehouses were crappy. If they introduce more urban terrain then I think JC2 will be amazing.
