There's now a void in the arcade sports genre with the retirement of NBA Street and NBA Ballers but now a new game is stepping up to fill the vacany. NBA Unrivaled is an arcade basketball game from Tecmo that looks to be an updated version of NBA Jam.

Two weeks ago Tecmo released the first images for their arcade basketball game “NBA Unrivaled.” Despite Tecmo not being the first company you would think of when it comes to providing a good arcade basketball experience most people were interested in the project since it looked quite similar to the classic NBA Jam games.

The game definitely has an arcade flare to things with some insane dunks accompanied by flash effects and camera angles but besides that it seems like a somewhat normal basketball game slightly speed up a bit.
