OXCGN TGS Announcements: Dead Rising 2 - 4 Player multiplayer TIR Video

You need to see this new Dead Rising 2 video, scary stuff, and not sure if it will get past the Australian OFLC . . . especially the way they have been going lately.

With recent speculation that Dead Rising 2 would feature a multiplayer aspect, many fans of the original have been wondering how Capcom could possibly incorporate this feature into the highly anticipated sequel.

It seems Capcom have found a way. Terror is Reality (TIR) is reminiscent of a game show, instead of the usual aim of most traditional game shows, TIR features 4 contestants all trying to slay as many undead as possible.

    Ah, and I was so excited.

    Then the stuttering framerate of the video and the whole "American Gladiators" concept pretty much killed ANY and EVERY multiplayer anticipation for me.

    You know what though, the more big titles that get censored in Australia the more business will lobby the Aussie government for an R18 rating. If L4D2 is being censored, why wouldn't DR2 be? If it isn't they are being pretty arbitrary.

    I wonder if this is gonna be on the disc at launch but released at a later date so Capcom can make a couple extra bucks. I'm sure they won't after the hassle they went through with RE5 but that would be ballsy if they went ahead and did it with DR2 also.

    Ok, rofl. That looks amazing! It completely goes with the whole Las Vegas feel of the game and suits it well.

    Lookin forward to killin more zombies than 3 other people now it'll be a awesome gorefest!

    Would be funny to see Hulk Hogan make an appearance =d

    Impressed.. Gonna play this mode more than the single player I can see it now.
