Heavy Rain - Madison's Full Strip Tease (NSFW)

If you want to make a splash at the Tokyo Game Show, then what better way than to show one of your characters doing a strip tease? Heavy Rain did just that. But you're going to have to click on the source to watch the video, you bunch of pervs! ;-D

Warning: the link in the story below leads to a video that does feature topless nudity of a character in a game.

You know, I considered starting this article a variety of ways. Something lurid and simple like, "TAKE...IT...OFF!" crossed my mind, but so did some sort of pun or joke concerning video game stripteases with full nudity. But then I figured, "eh, the video will speak for itself," and decided to move on.

      I don't really see the OFLC having a problem with it.I mean if God of War, Farenheit (Indigo Prophecy to most of you) and Playboy the mMansion got away with it I don't see why this wouldn't.Well apart from the fact that the OFLC are inconsistent.

        From what I just saw, I could see the OFLC complaining about it being so realistic. If the rest of the game has that kind of graphics, and it's that serious, then it's quite possible that the OFLC could potentially ban it for some reason about realistic violence and nudity. Playboy the Mansion I could see getting away with it due to the blurred graphics of particular body parts much like the Sims, plus the outdated graphics as well.

        Then again, as you said, the OFLC are inconsistent.

          With the games David Cage makes only Europe is generally guarenteed an unedited version. I mean Indigo Prophecy was edited everywhere else other than Europe and that games nudity was blurred and low res because of the consoles it was on. This game may have more trouble unless Quantic Dream come out and just tell the OFLC, ESRB and PEGI "this game is ultra violent, has tons of bad language, children die and oh yeah one of the characters gets naked a few times over the course, we are not trying to hide anything here" They may get away with it, ratings boards seem to get really strict when developers look to be hiding things especially scenes like Madison's where many gamers may never see that scene depending on their choices.

          Well in this case I'm thinking/hoping that this being such a mature HEAVILY story driven and I guess you could say artistic game that they won't have a problem with it.


          Also yes the graphics are better than Farneheit but I still see Farenheits topless nudity as realistic and they allowed that.Not to mention in this game it's only a strip tease and not sexual intercourse like Farenheit.That's why I think the OFLC will allow it.Also don't forget that BMX XXX had to have the nudity of the female bike rider removed and the graphics of that game were rather shit.


          But like I said before you never know with the OFLC, I'm not gonna say I think 100% that it will pass classification.I mean I was SURE that Playboy the Mansion would be banned.I was even more surprised when I found out PBtM had real pictures of exposed breasts, that the OFLC didn't ban it.

    Playing through this scene will probably make me so uncomfortable, not for nudity, but for how creepy that douche is. David Cage will be happy to find out it's doing that to people.

    Impressive merely for the graphics alone. The number of developers that get the female body wrong even with clothes on, let alone a developer willing to show pretty much everything, that shows great craftmanship.. It is kinda uncomfortable though how real she looks, might be this games problem. Nudity isn't a problem anymore but she looks almost photo realistic and they may deem it softcore porn haha.

    PS. I think it is hilarious that they chose to show this scene at TGS. They know what the Japanese market want to see. Out of the hundreds perhaps thousands of scenes they showed the one that appeals to every breast fetishist in the country lol.. This is like Ninja Gaiden boob shake but more more hardcore lol.

    Actually Daweii Farenheits sex scene and nudity was left in-tact in the Aus version as I said in my previous posts.

    See . . . I tried asking the devs if this sort of a scene was in the game, and if so is it possible for me to completely bypass it (even if it meant killing one of my characters or something). Hmph . . . Didn't want to answer my question **que pouting tone** Answered everyone else's questions though

    I don't feel like sitting through a scene like this. I hope I can figure out a way around it . . .

      I think you can get around it, not too sure. GameInformer was talking about this specific scene. I think they managed to use the lamp before he forces you to strip for him...I am definitely not avoiding it though.

    Maybe weird that this was my reaction.

    But really, at least the nudity will probably make sense in this game what with him having a gun. The last one was like "Oh, we finished the game and we didn't have a sex scene... well... let's just throw these two in here, nobody will care how insanely forced they are."

        Wasn't there a sex scene between the two main characters? I'm pretty sure the only thing you could see was a little bit of ass, but still. It had no lead up. They just randomly decided to do it. It was terrible.

          Not sure about Heavy Rain but I know Indigo Prophecy had one. Gonna be bluntly honest though, I never really minded the sex scenes at all...in fact it proved to be BENEFICIAL for the character in terms of gameplay, though I don't know if HR is gonna be purely for the story.

          Wow 3 games.. You really outdid yourself in proving a point considering thousands release every year. I mean come on Heavy Rain has the best visuals in any game and the eyes move and are animated very well, but come on developers even now know that it's the facial features that make a character real. No game gets the lips moving right, none get facial muscles right these are all things Heavy Rain excells in not including the good eye movement and the realistic tone of everything... You list 3 games, does nothing to prove your point.
