TGS 09: New Final Fantasy XIII Trailer Reveals New Scenes And Characters!

For the last few days, the official Final Fantasy XIII site has been counting down the days until Square Enix released a brand new trailer to the public. Well the countdown has ended, and the trailer is finally here!

It's a whopping 7 minutes long and features a bunch of brand sparkin' new gameplay footage, cutscenes, and characters! This trailer certainly doesn't disappoint.

    I'd be a lot less apprehensive if they didn't all look related to one another... and the love interest (Serah?) didn't look 10 years old.

    Everytime I think I'm set against this game, a new trailer comes along and changes my mind. Still on the edge, but if it comes at a convenient time next year I'll probably get it, just to see if its worthy of the hype.

    Is it their plan to release a new trailer everyday? Jeez. Though, this is probably the best trailer to date.

    The first part gave me Golden Saucer flashbacks

    EDIT: Also, finaly a FF game where you can walk around as any of the heroes/heroines.

    Unbelievably amazing. This is definitely like the modern FFVII. I can't wait to get it, and I would love for a nice translation of the video.

    Am I the only one turned off by this video? Don't get me wrong the gameplay looks freaking perfect but I don't think I can handle having twenty different over-the-top plot twists mixed with fifty million love triangles and a moral about war being bad and love and friendship being cool but also hurting in forty-eight hour long shoved down my throat cinematics without exploding.

        That was the point. A good story is always a plus but JRPGs tend to take it too far, and that's why this trailer's beginning to put me off.

    Love the trailer (FREAKIN' DINOSAURS) but I think I'm gonna draw the line at reading the translation.

          I've been at that point for a while now which is why I avoid the forum! LOL I'm still uncertain if this will be a title I pick up on launch though....will have to wait to see what bonuses, if any, they offer.

    Seem like a really interesting game, I just wonder how the Japanese get the hair in Anime look so good, the hair is amazing in these games, I wish my hair looked that good...

    The more I see the more I like, with the exception of Snow looking mid 20s and Serah mid teens.
