If you're a King of Fighters fan then prepare to cry after watching this footage from the KoF movie

The next video game film that will be hitting theaters is based on the popular King of Fighters series. Featuring a cast that includes Ray Park, Maggie Q and Will Yun Lee the movie should be fun for fans of the series and martial arts movie fans, but based on the first extended look at the movie things doesn't seem to be shaping up that good.

When it came to the upcoming King of Fighters movie no one was really expecting it to be that good. The small teaser footage that we saw a few months ago wasn't that hot and people's thoughts on the project further went down when some publicity stills were released showing the actors whose wardrobe looked like they walked out of a cosplay convention.

Now we have our first "proper" look at the film filled with a nice amount of footage and the movie looks to be really bad. I mean like Mortal Kombat 2: Annihilation and Dead or Alive bad

    Only Mature and Vice look like they were appropriately casted.

    I like Maggie Q and all, but she doesn't have the body to be Mai.

    Terry as a WHAT?! Holy hell, epic fail alert. Great to see Ray Park in it, he's awesome in his roles...but still, not enough to save this disaster. Looks a little better than Legend of Chun-Li, but that isn't saying much.

    Still, I'll see it to get a better opinion. :S

    Couldn't even get halfway through before I started skipping around. Then I saw Terry Bogard's actor and closed the window as I wept.

        Since it's not directed by Uwe Boll, it's instantly better than Bloodrayne.

          Agreed, but there's a lot of video game movies not directed by Uwe Boll that suck equal balls. Like... Super Mario Bros., Dead or Alive, Wing Commander, Mortal Kombat: Annihilation. But I do admit that none of those made me think that murder was justified like an Uwe Boll film does. Seriously, someone needs to tell him to stop.

        as a film it wasn't that great, but the effects were really cool. the camera never cut away for any of the dismemberment and it always showed the connection which made for a lot of neat action sequences.

          But if that's all you get off on in movies, then maybe snuff films should be more your forte. I'm just saying that they are not good movies. I honestly wanted to eat his face when I finished Bloodrayne. Hell, even the Mortal Kombat movies were better!
