When you're advertising a new product on live TV, it sure must feel terrible when that product doesn't work. Windows 7 was recently being promoted on the Japanese morning TV show "Tokudane", only for the operating system's touch-screen capability to stop working mid-way through the presentation:

Boggled by the situation, both presenters attempted to laugh it off. "Don't tell me that's made in China," the female presenter joked. "This is my first time using this!" the male presenter responded.

The same thing then happened at Japan's Windows 7 launch event and on Japan's Fuji TV show:

It probably would have been best to just use the mouse!

Kinda misleading title, it was clear the touch screen issue was user error.

It could have been Windows 7 but I know for a fact that those touch screen monitors are a bitch to use. I have seen a bunch of them at Best Buy and back when Circuit City was open, and I always tried them. But to no avail, the never worked. I always touched something, an icon, the start button, NOTHING! Something was clearly wrong with them.
