Here is a comparison video showing the difference between the uncensored version of Left 4 Dead 2 and the censored version that Australians will be recieving...

As you can see, the censored Australian version has been edited so much that it's less gory than even the first game. There is no blood splatter, no gore, no wound detail, no zombie dismemberment or decapitation. Zombies cannot be set on fire and their bodies will disappear from the screen as soon as they touch the ground. There are also less zombies coming at you at one time and there are no Riot Cop UCC in the game because it is considered "violence against authority figures".

Hear that sound? That's the sound of thousands of Australian gamers weeping :(

        Duh lol.

Also, on a little less sarcastic note, the new pipe bomb animations are kick arse! Though tbh they would have looked better in real time than slow-mo.

EDIT: Also, wtf is with the whole 'Riot Thingo won't spawn with playing with people playing the censored version'? Now we're just gonna get kicked from every lobby, thanks.

Here's an "entire random" fact for you: Did you know that the UK zoning for Xbox games is the same as Australia's? Not that I'm suggesting you import it of course, oh my no.

Here's an "entirely random" fact for you: Did you know that this game isn't important enough for me to go through the bullshit of importing it? Sure I COULD, but A) Living in a small town assures problems of actually getting the copy here, it's happened far too many times before. And B) It's principle, I shouldn't HAVE to import it. Not that I'm suggesting your comment didn't contain information about zoning that I didn't already know of course, oh my no.

Have we got some sort of confirmation that a UK (for example) L4D2 will play as the uncensored version on our Aussie Xbawkxs?

I know following logic it would, but I don't wanna import it and still be stuck playing this censored crap.

It would work perfectly fine. You can count the censored version as basically another game compared to the uncensored version. As long as you buy the uncensored version, that's what your going to be playing.

Never played L4D but they have COMPLETELY ruined this one.

I now dub this game L4D2 Pussy Aussie Backwater Country Edition.

Wow, feel really sorry for you Aussie's, that censored version is possibly the most boring they can ever make L4D.

It sure is.I mean usually when a game is banned here, they remove a feature or two that doesn't really effect the game that much. This one though they have removed everything that makes it good.
