The countdown has just finished revealing that Final Fantasy XIII will be released simultaneously in North America and Europe [PS3/360] on March 9th, a little sooner than most people anticipated following the vague 'Spring 2010' date.

Finally! Great news. I've been waiting for this game for so long. I didn't think it would be out that soon either. Simultaneous release means we get it first due to time zones...yay!

Hopefully. If it does release here then we will have it before everyone else because of our timezone being many hours ahead.

Doubt I will get many people on PSN calling me names (jokingly) becauase I'm already playing FFXIII, unlike GTAIV where I got quite a few messages.

But when the price on EB Games is listed as 118 dollars, the glory of getting it earlier because of time zones is eaten at by the fact that you're paying 50USD more for it than the Americans.

Not if you don't give a shit how much you have to pay for a game.I'm used to paying $100-$120 so the price doesn't bother me.I'm still able to get every game I must have so price is pretty much irrelivent to me.

Anyway I'm sure there will be a special edition that I will HAVE to get so I'll probably be spending $150+ on the game.

I'm sure that in the future when I have a family or live in my own house money will matter but atm money is not really an issue.

I'm not saying I'm surprised with that pricing, it's happened a few times this gen, but that doesn't make such a vast difference in price any more acceptable. Let's face it here, we get the short end of the stick so frequently there's no point in giving it back for the next game anymore.
