A while ago, it was announced that popular Japanese singer GACKT would be singing two theme songs for the upcoming title Samurai Warriors 3. The gorgeous ending ballad Setsugekka -The End of Silence- was revealed a few days ago, and today the fast-paced rock song ZAN has surfaced on the 'net.
And in case you missed it the first time:
In a recent interview, GACKT revealed that both songs will remain in the Western versions of the game, thus it was important for him to make theme songs that would appeal to both Japanese and Western audiences, while also sounding distinctly Japanese. (Maybe Square Enix should have taken a similar approach with FFXIII's theme song? - oh, I went there!)
Yep, Samurai Warriors 3 really hits the mark when it comes to awesome theme songs.

holy shitballs that song is long...
edit- nvm its looped a billion times.
Anyway, there's one problem I've always had with a lot of Japanese male singers, and it's that a lot of them seem to have their throats too...I dunno, open, when they sing.
Though I'm guessing it'll be like every other Samurai Warriors game.

They better start pulling dome god damned dynamic game designs this time, or KOEIs in for another 5/10 series of reviews.
