Revive a long dead series, toss in elements of Apocalypse now, and generic gun sounds. YAY!

Not really, but would be interesting if this turned out to be pretty good, as the Spec Ops series in the PSX days was still pretty mediocre for its time.

Maybe this will get Zipper off their arse and they'll jump onto the next campaign-based Socom game.

Looks decent so far, but I really want to hear some damned gun sounds that aren't so canned.

I personally see this more of 2K's attempt to show that multiplatform games can match exclusives in terms of visuals. This game is not far off annihilating Uncharted 2 on a visual level and I don't even think I an exagerating, the scope and the particle effects on show here are spectacular.

Yeah, the graphics are pretty unbelievable. They aren't Uncharted 2 levels, but still amazing for a multi-platform game. I thought the gameplay was good too. Although I agree that the gun sounds weren't the best.

Might be a halfway decent shooter, I think. I'm thinking, though, that the post apocalyptic setting is becoming overused.

Very nice graphics, in fact they're so good I suspect something is up. Despite looking like gameplay I wouldn't be all that surprised if it were pre-rendered, of course I could be wrong.

I think this late into the generation we know what is capable of gameplay and what isn't. This is pretty much in league with Killzone 2 and Uncharted 2. It doesn't look much better, had they added a HUD it would have definately looked like gameplay. This game is merely using the cinematic ploys as Uncharted 2 to make the gameplay look less and less like gameplay and more like a movie.
