Electronic Theatre hosts the first gameplay trailer in a brand new series revealing the ins-and-outs of Rockstar Games' forthcoming Red Dead Redemption, due for release in April 2010.

Red Dead Redemption delivers an interpretation of the American West at the turn of the 20th century: a violent and disorderly time of swift growth and change. Players take on the role of the partially reformed outlaw John Marston; blackmailed by the government, his family is threatened as he is forced to traverse the vast and unforgiving expanses of the Western frontier in search of members of his former gang.
