EA have released a...uh...lovely Christmas trailer for the upcoming Dante's Inferno, full of gratuitous gore and nudity. What everybody wants at Christmas time, right? :D

    That was hot.

I'll definitely be downloading the demo to see how much it plays like God of War it plays.

I'm glad that Visceral isn't all stiff like some of the bigger companies, which is why we get cool stuff like this

Every trailer I see for this game makes me think it looks more and more like total ass and I'm not sure why, it's no more ridiculous than God Of War really, and I loved those.

Well, it plays a lot like GoW, based on the demo available on PSN. and the story draws a lot from writing of the story.. but it does have some idea that strike me as "Generically Awesome" rather then actually awesome, if you know what i mean...

No, it draws nothing from the story. The only similarities are: There's a guy with the same name, there's a few characters that are the in the book, and hell is in 9 circles which represent the sins.

Sorry, it's just for some reason it kills me that they are saying it's based off the book. It's like saying Twilight is based off of Bram Stoker's Dracula.

Maybe if they just named it something else I'd be fine with it... but damn... it's like if Uwe Boll directed a Dante's Inferno movie.

Sorry, enough similes for now, I promise.

They should be saying "inspired by" not "based off of." Because being inspired by something means there's no requirement for adherency to the source material.
