Unofficial (but wacky!) concept pictures of the Next Xbox and PlayStation consoles

Check out this wacky video showcasing several concept design concepts (some look like real prototypes) of the future Xbox and PlayStation gaming consoles. Are we going way too fast into the future with some of these ideas?

    Considering how they are adding more and more buttons to the joypad, I think the only way to go is with adding another 50 on.

    Seen nearly all of those before. And the third pic in is in fact the PSX a real system only released in Japan.

    On top of that the screamer at the end was just so blatantly obvious it wasn't even necessary. If you're going to do a screamer don't give it away so easily. I was almost bored waiting for it.

      Beaten. Yeah, I was going to point out (what I thought was) the PSX XD

      Some of these are old concepts too. Like uggghhh, the PS3 slim concept is there. It says "Playstation 3" on it FFS!

      X-box 720 logo is just a recolored 360 logo (with 720 in it)....

      Plus a lot of joke concepts too....

    God, when did wacky become a recommendation. I've always thought it just meant 'trying too hard to be funny.' That certainly fit the description.

    I have to agree . . . I rarely say this but that video was a waste of my time! It was terrible! Not funny, nor creative, nor wacky or anything.

    And not to bash the submitter of the article or picture, but that default picture is so old and over-used I wish for its destruction! I remember seeing it before the PS3 launched even...

    A lot of those images were ones used for "what will the XBOX 2" and "what will the PS3" look like. And to make a video out of this? someone has too much time on their hands.

    i go by the assumption that all Youtube videos have a screamer part in it so i never so much as jump when they happen anymore. especially since they are all so blatantly obvious. "get really close to the screen and turn the speakers up!"

      Haha, Yeah ESPECIALLY when they say to get close to the screen. That just makes it all the worse with how obvious it is
