3 min long Bioshock 2 launch trailer released

With the release of Bioshock 2 coming out next week, 2K games brought us a little slice of Rapture. This came in the form of a 3 min long launch trailer. Check it out

2K has just released the Bioshock 2 launch trailer and it was in at a hefty 3 minutes and 15 seconds long. The launch trailer is a realization of the elements that BioShock 2 fans have been clamoring for. Breathtaking action set against the backdrop of a decaying underwater Utopia provides players with the slice of Rapture. With the release less then a week away we're sure itching to get ourselves in the world of Rapture.

    Nice trailer, Big Sister water manipulation at the end was very cool.

    That looks really similar to the opening movie of Bioshock 1 (you know, where you leave the title screen absant for a sec).

    The water effects are *bleep*ing awesome, and I though Bioshock 1's was good (and has aged very well, still looks good when I was playing it all of two weeks ago).

    And thank god finally a trailer that doesn't make the game 'look' like a generic FPS, bout time, as Bioshock is far from that.
