Square Enix have recently released some new screenshots of Final Fantasy Tactics A2: The Sealed Grimoire, for Nintendo DS, in the Japanese magazines Famitsu and Shonen Jump.

Square Enix have also revealed a new Gameplay video.
The combat system, shops, cities, and world map are thus revealed...

Here we discover the five playable races: Humans (neutrals), Mogs (good mechanics and engineers), Viéras (nimble and fast), Bangaas (effective in the engagements with the body with body) and the Mohs (their intelligence make good magi of them).
Each race has particular characteristics, thus they each specialize in certain jobs.

I never really liked the first game at first, but once I got playing it, I thought it was amazing ^^
The magic on this game looks amazing as well and I love how the characters looks keep the feel of all the games set in Ivalice (( Most notable, the Judge seen in the Trailer looks a lot like them Judges in Final Fantasy XII ))
Its little features like that ...

WHOA! Was that a MALE Viera I saw in the first battle?

And is it just me or the tavern/pub looks exactly the same as in the first game, down to the same pub owner lol. I've never gotten much news about the story of the game, so I'm not sure if it's a sequel to FFTA or it's named FFTA-2 just for convenience.

Ha ha, it's understandable that many would think that. I do believe that's what Cid will look like in this game, but I'm not sure what race he is. Maybe he is a male Viera. o_0

It could be the same pub for all we know ^^ It would be nice if they integrated the first game into the second, somehow ...

Male Viera ?!?! I assume you mean the guest ? He looked like a Helgas to me ...
