Square Enix and Japanese singer Ayaka have finally revealed more details about the theme song for Final Fantasy VII: Crisis Core
The song is called "Why" and is set for release on the 12th of September.

    The theme song for Final Fantasy VII: Crisis Core is entitled "Why" and will be sung by Japanese pop star, Ayaka.

    The single "Why", the theme song for Crisis Core, is set to be released this September.

    It will be coupled with Ayaka's B-side song "Clap & Love", and there will be two versions of the single released. The regular edition will be released on 5 September at 1,100 yen, the first pressing of which will include a Crisis Core sticker.

    The second, released on 12 September and priced at 1,800 yen, will be a limited edition. This version also includes a DVD with two music videos for Why (a standard version featuring Ayaka, and a Crisis Core CG video version).
